The Lenton Centre, which is a friendly and accessible place, is excited to offer a new activity for people who find that gyms do not provide for their needs.
Our weekly based chair exercise group will take place every Friday morning from 10.30am, starting this Friday, 17th January 2020.
All adults are welcome especially people with little or no mobility. You can bring somebody with you to any of the sessions even if they don’t want to take part. After the session you can join us for a hot or cold drink and a savoury treat in Mairi’s Cafe, here at The Lenton Centre.
How Much Do The Sessions Cost?
The sessions are free as they are supported by a number of charities to help The Lenton Centre promote active lifestyles to all communities. These charities include The Jones 1986 Charitable Trust, Awards For All and The Winnifred Potter Trust.
How Do I Get There?
If you are travelling by car, you need to put Willoughby Street, Lenton into your sat nav. There is free parking outside the centre for 2 hours, but spaces are limited.
If you are travelling by bus, you can catch several buses including the 18, 20, 21, 34, 35, 36, i4 and the Indigo. Get off at the Savoy Cinema stop on Derby Road outside Sainsbury’s, turn left onto the new housing estate on Godfrey Lane and continue on to the end of the road. Once you reach the Thomas Helwys Baptist Church, cross the road, turn left and then immediate right onto Willoughby Street and the centre is on your right.
If you have any questions, please give the centre a call on 0115 941 2422. We look forward to seeing you.
Funders: The Jones 1986 Charitable Trust, Awards For All & The Winnifred Potter Trust.
